Baca Released From Las Vegas Hospital

Sheriff Lee Baca was released from a Las Vegas hospital Monday and will resume his normal duties, a department spokesman said.
Baca was hospitalized Sunday for dehydration after running a 6.4-mile leg of the annual Baker-to-Vegas Challenge Cup Relay Race. Sgt. Ken Davidson said the 59-year-old sheriff is in good condition and will suffer no lasting effects.
