Four Shot Near Mall Released From Hospital
Four men shot late Friday night at the Ontario Mills shopping center were released from the hospital Saturday, including a 20-year-old who was shot in the head, police said.
According to police, a fight broke out in a courtyard of the mall, and a man who was standing nearby pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Officials said another 20-year-old was shot in the abdomen, and a 19-year-old was shot in the back. A third 20-year-old was hit in the arm. All the injuries were minor, police said.
Police said Saturday that they are withholding the names of the victims, who were treated at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, for their safety.
