Thurgood Marshall Stamp Readied for Sale

A commemorative 37-cent stamp honoring Thurgood Marshall, the first black Supreme Court justice, will go on sale in January, the Postal Service announced.
“My sons and I are so grateful that Thurgood Marshall joins so many other Americans who have been previously honored, including Roy Wilkins, with whom he worked so closely, who did their best to make our country a living democracy,” Marshall’s widow, Cecilia, said.
