Course Offers Guidelines to 1st-Time Home Buyers
First-time home buyers are invited to attend a free course from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, sponsored by the Ventura County Housing Authority and a local mortgage company.
The course offers step-by-step guidelines for buying a residence in Ventura County, where homes sold for a median price of $335,000 in June.
Participants may qualify for special loan programs offered by some Ventura County cities.
The workshop will be held at the housing authority’s offices, 1400 W. Hillcrest Drive, Newbury Park.
