4 Civilians Detained in Connection With Coup

Venezuela’s top prosecutor ordered four civilians accused in an April coup detained on accusations of rebellion, a day after the Supreme Court rejected his attempts to send military officers to trial for similar allegations.
Atty. Gen. Isaias Rodriguez, whom critics dismiss as a close ally of President Hugo Chavez, issued detention warrants for the four men accused of taking part in the short-lived uprising.
