Tim Bornheimer (letter, Dec. 2) misses the point regarding screening of toddlers and the infirm elderly. Besides looking for the obvious hijackers, the Transportation Security Administration is empowered to look for dupes unwittingly carrying weapons or explosives. Wouldn’t it be easy to plant a package on a child or elderly relative if one were really motivated?
