Charles Schwab Corp.’s advertising campaign in which Chairman Charles Schwab promises that his firm doesn’t underwrite stocks is misleading, according to a lawsuit filed Monday by Los Angeles resident Eugene Braunstein. The suit alleges that Schwab was an underwriter when the ads aired. The firm declined to comment.
