Driver in $10.8-Million Heist Pleads Guilty
From Times Wire Reports
The driver of an armored truck robbed of $10.8 million in 1990 pleaded guilty in Rochester to helping carry out the holdup.
“That’s the way it is,” Albert Ranieri told the judge.
The money is still missing and Ranieri, 38, did not implicate anyone else. The robbery remains under investigation.
Under his deal with prosecutors, he will draw a 30-year prison sentence and a $250,000 fine.
