Government Rejects Call for Nuclear Inspections
From Times Wire Reports
North Korea rejected a call by the International Atomic Energy Agency to open its nuclear arms program to inspectors, saying the U.N. watchdog was abetting U.S. policy toward the North.
In a letter to the agency’s director, Foreign Minister Paek Nam Sun rejected the call as “extremely unilateral” and blamed the crisis on “hostile” U.S. policies. He also accused the agency of treating the North unfairly.
