Communal Fighting Leaves 14 Dead

At least 14 people have been killed in renewed communal clashes near the central Nigerian city of Jos, where about 1,000 died in religious riots last year, police said.
State Police Commissioner Innocent Ilozuoke said the violence erupted Thursday when Muslim Fulani herdsmen attacked a village southwest of Jos. Army and police restored order, he said.
