Police Foil Apparent Plot Against Americans

Pakistani authorities arrested three Islamic militants and seized a car full of explosives that police said was to be used in a suicide attack targeting U.S. diplomats in Karachi.
Inspector General Syed Kamal Shah, police chief in Sindh province, said authorities also seized a 10-ton stash of explosive ammonium nitrate powder linked to the men.
