Bing to pay for his paternity
Movie producer Steve Bing has agreed to pay $158,000 a year to support the son he fathered with actress Elizabeth Hurley, according to a statement released on his behalf Tuesday.
But Hurley quickly turned it down. “I fully appreciate his generosity toward his son,” she said. “However, my position remains the same. The money is not wanted or welcome. Damian and I are managing very well by ourselves.”
Bing’s statement said the money would be paid until Damian Charles Hurley is 18. The financial plan was agreed to in a court order issued Tuesday in London.
A Bing spokeswoman said that the money would be paid into a trust, and that it was not for Hurley to turn away.
