Re “Paul’s New Arrangement Is Flip Side of Lennon-McCartney,” Dec. 15: I was amused by the comment that Paul McCartney “is too paranoid that, in future centuries, they will read ‘Lennon-McCartney’ and assume he was lesser,” and that’s why McCartney wants their music to be rechristened “McCartney-Lennon.” By trying to finagle top billing on their collaborations 20-some years after John Lennon’s death, he has already shown which he is.
