Council OKs Settlements in Cases Against Police

The City Council approved $4 million in lawsuit settlements Tuesday, including $2.5 million to Annette Amoroso, who lost her eye after a police officer shot her with a beanbag projectile.
Four of the other 10 settlements involved allegations that police officers violated the civil rights of the plaintiffs.
