A Secret Account Not a Longshot in Holiday

A troubled fourth at nearly 71-1 in the $500,000 Champion of Champions less than two weeks ago, A Secret Account will be a considerably shorter price in tonight’s $26,900 Holiday Handicap at 350 yards.

Owned and trained by Rodney Hart, the 6-year-old gelding was beaten by 1 3/4 lengths by Whosleavingwho in the Grade 1 Champion of Champions and was only a neck behind Beccas Bunny, who finished third at more than 60-1 in the 440-yard race.

A winner of 16 of 48 races in his career, A Secret Account is listed at 6-5 on Ed Burgart’s morning line.
