From Times Wire Reports

The Archdiocese of Boston, which has given prosecutors the names of at least 30 former priests accused of sexually abusing children, is being asked to also supply the names of alleged victims.

The archdiocese said it would contact such individuals and give investigators the names of those who want to come forward. Information the church has on alleged incidents dating back to the 1960s could help build criminal cases against the accused, a prosecutor said. The archdiocese has faced scrutiny since it became publicly known that a defrocked priest convicted last month of sex crimes on a child had been assigned to a parish after being removed from two other parishes following accusations of molesting children.
