Fewer See Presidential Bid From Hillary Clinton

One in four voters nationwide think that Hillary Rodham Clinton will run for president in 2004, according to a poll by Marist College’s Institute for Public Opinion. That is down from 36% who felt that way in a March poll. And, by a larger than 2-to-1 margin, voters think the New York Democrat should never run for the White House.

The telephone poll of 785 registered voters conducted Jan. 14-24 had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
