Loaded with chocolate, the Parisian is the perfect dessert for Valentine’s Day. This beautiful cake has been around since Viktor Benes opened his bakery on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles in 1966. The dark chocolate cake is filled and frosted with chocolate whipped cream, dusted with chocolate around the sides and topped with a thick layer of shaved chocolate. The Parisian is so popular it is always on hand in several sizes. The bakery will personalize it by adding a message written on a chocolate bar.
