Inmate Who Left Work Assignment Captured

Pedro Guevara, who escaped from the Century Regional Detention Facility last month, was arrested on Sunday by LAPD officers, authorities said Tuesday.
Guevara, a transient who was picked up in Wilmington, will probably face escape charges. He walked away from a work assignment at the Lynwood jail Jan. 16.
