Probe Seeks Cause of Crash Fatal to Marines
Investigators have not determined what caused a truck at Camp Pendleton to roll over, killing three Marines and injuring four Marines and a sailor, officials said Thursday.
The dead were identified as Cpl. Daniel Hudson, 21, of Bolingbrook, Ill.; Cpl. Aaron Pinnetti, 19, of Bristol, Maine; and Cpl. Benjamin Worchel, 21, of San Antonio.
Three of the injured were treated and released; the other two were in stable condition at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido.
The accident occurred Wednesday during a training mission.
