Broker Surrenders in Case of Missing Funds

An investment broker who disappeared after he prompted the FBI to investigate $300 million missing from his clients’ accounts surrendered at the FBI’s Cleveland office.
Frank Gruttadauria, manager of a Cleveland office of Lehman Brothers, is charged in a federal warrant with making false statements to a financial institution.
Gruttadauria, 44, disappeared with his passport Jan. 11. He left a letter for the FBI saying he acted alone and did not take money for personal use, investigators said.
