Too Few Hands on Broadcast Dials

Basically there is no more diversity in broadcast ownership today than there was in 1943 [“CBS President to Take Control of UPN in 2002,” Dec. 11].

Essentially, one or two companies control 50% of the network spectrum space. This may be good for CBS/Viacom/UPN, but is it good for the viewing public?
