The family of developer Frank Doyle, who built the first condominiums in Southern California, has given Orange Coast College’s Foundation $1 million for its new arts center.

The college’s trustees voted this week to name the 8,500-square-foot facility the Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavilion.

Construction is expected to begin in the fall and be completed in late 2003.
