Time to Replace Inefficient Dryer

Share

Does your clothes dryer leave things damp, or overly dried and super-wrinkled? It’s a common problem with older dryers. Not only are clothes wrinkled, tangled or damp, they also use far more energy than new ones do--whether gas or electric.

One feature on newer models is auto-reversing drum rotation that changes back and forth every few minutes to minimize tangling and wrinkling. This also speeds up drying and saves energy. New moisture sensors work better, saving energy, preventing over-drying, wrinkling and eliminating the need for ironing.
