Today’s Food section (Jan. 23) was the best we have had in years. There were recipes the average homemaker could relate too. Nothing like short ribs and a good old-fashioned pot roast. The past several years it has been foreign recipes that required going to Koreatown or Chinatown to get items. I had just about given up on recipes that the average American cook could make. My bunco and pinochle group have all remarked on this.
