School Libraries Poorly Managed, Report Finds

Students and teachers face difficulties finding books in some libraries of the Los Angeles Unified School District because of lack of space and poorly managed tracking systems, according to a report released Tuesday by the district’s internal auditor.
The report, which examined 33 district schools over nearly two years, concluded that students and staff members are not benefiting as much as they should from campus libraries.
