Freeway Closed by Overturned Truck

Both sides of the Long Beach Freeway were shut down Monday night after a tractor-trailer carrying liquid nitrogen overturned near Willow Street.
The accident occurred at about 10:10 p.m. in the northbound lanes just south of the San Diego Freeway.
At least one person, the driver of the tractor-trailer, was injured, the CHP said.
