Update--The Sparks pick up where they left off at the All-Star break--on the road. It is the third game of a five-game trip, with L.A. splitting the first two games. The trip will end with games Thursday at New York and Saturday at Cleveland. The Fever has Southern California connections in Olympia Scott-Richardson and Jackie Moore. Scott-Richardson was a prep All-American at Playa del Rey St. Bernard who later attended Stanford. Moore is a former Long Beach Poly High and Long Beach State standout. Rookie Tamika Catchings leads the Fever in scoring (17.8), rebounding (8.2) and assists (3.2). She was the East’s leading scorer in the All-Star game with 12 points.
