Serbian police have arrested a Bosnian Serb war crimes suspect on charges of committing atrocities during the 1992-95 war in Bosnia-Herzegovina, a news agency reported.

Dragoljub Dragicevic, who is accused of war crimes against Muslims in the enclave of Srebrenica in 1995, had been hiding in Serbia, the larger of the two Yugoslav republics, the private Beta news agency said.

Serbia’s public prosecutor, Rade Terzic, told Beta that Dragicevic is not on a list of Serbs wanted by the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague and that he will be tried at home.
