* Citibank has agreed to block online gambling transactions using its credit cards, New York’s attorney general said. The agreement announced by the bank and Atty. Gen. Eliot Spitzer applies to all Internet gambling transactions, not just those in New York, and goes into effect in 60 days.

* Closely held Del Taco settled a lawsuit by Shaquille O’Neal, who claimed the Mexican fast-food chain falsely implied in a 2000 radio advertising campaign that the Laker center endorses it. Terms of the settlement weren’t disclosed.
