U.S. Exports to Saudi Arabia Expected to Fall

U.S. exports to Saudi Arabia, its largest market in the Arab world, may fall by a third this year because of a boycott of American goods and an economic slowdown in the kingdom.
Exports may decline to $4 billion this year from $6 billion in 2001 as Saudis are shunning products from the U.S. because of its support for Israel and trimming their spending as economic growth eases, said Charles Kestenbaum, the U.S. Embassy’s commercial counselor.
