Microsoft Corp. said tablet-sized personal computers using Windows software will go on sale in November, as the world’s biggest software maker seeks to reverse slowing growth.

Microsoft Group Vice President Jeff Raikes demonstrated the Tablet PC, a computer with a notepad-size screen that users can write on with a stylus, at the Techxny computer trade show in New York.

Shares of Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft were down $1.21 to $52.95 on Nasdaq.
