Ending Terror for Good

Share

“Borderless Web of Killers” (editorial, Feb. 26) mentioned that “a special concern is the involvement of Pakistan’s shadowy Inter-Services Intelligence agency with fundamentalists and possibly with the kidnapping of [Daniel] Pearl. The agency was godfather to the fanatical Taliban rulers of Afghanistan.”

Is it possible that this agency had a hand in the Sept. 11 attack in New York? We have not been able to find Osama bin Laden as yet. Is this agency shielding him and thwarting our efforts? Why don’t we insist that Pakistan disband this agency and let the U.S. interrogate its operatives? Until all the terrorist networks and the agencies that help them are destroyed, we will not be safe from terror attacks.
