Pakistani Embassy Staff Member Detained
From Times Wire Reports
Police detained a Pakistani Embassy staffer and his driver for a few hours, but Indian officials denied Pakistan’s allegation that the two were beaten.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said Indian agents attacked the men’s car, dragged them out, accused them of pick-pocketing and beat them.
An Indian Home Ministry official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the men allegedly had received secret documents from an Indian government employee.
