“A brandy made by Germain-Robin. They make several very nice alambic brandies. This was a single barrel V138, that’s a brandy made 100% from Pinot Noir. It’s very interesting because it has very nice and elegant fruit, and it has extraordinary balance overall and finesse on the palate. It’s something special. You would probably have to pay quite a bit more if you want something in that league from Cognac. I had it after dinner, just sitting with friends. This is where brandy is really a wonderful thing.”
