From Times Wire Reports

Seventy-year-old twin brothers riding their bicycles were killed, each one hit by a truck, in separate accidents hours apart on the same icy highway, Finnish police said.

The first accident occurred about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Constable Pauli Ketonen said. Shortly before noon, the other twin was struck and killed about a mile away. Both accidents occurred in Raahe, 370 miles north of the capital, Helsinki.

Ketonen said it was unlikely the second twin knew of his brother’s accident, because police had not had time to inform the family about it.
