RealNetworks, Nokia in Wireless Pact

RealNetworks Inc., a maker of software for playing Internet audio and video, said Nokia Corp. will use its programs in new lines of cellular phones. Terms weren’t disclosed. Nokia, the world’s largest mobile-phone maker, will use the RealOne Player in handsets for next-generation wireless networks. RealNetworks is vying with Microsoft Corp. to be the leading provider of this type of software.

RealNetworks shares fell 39 cents to $7.01 on Nasdaq. Nokia’s American depositary receipts, each representing one ordinary share, fell $1.41 to $22.09, on the NYSE.
