Judge Drops Remaining Charges Against Dentist
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lance A. Ito dismissed three remaining criminal charges against a Pasadena pediatric dentist Tuesday after her acquittal two weeks ago on 60 other counts.
Ito dismissed the two counts of child endangerment and one count of conspiracy against Drueciel Ford at the request of the district attorney’s office. The jury was split 10 to 2 for acquittal on the conspiracy count and one of the endangerment charges, and 11 to 1 for acquittal on the other endangerment charge.
Ito’s action was the final chapter in a more than two-year criminal probe into Ford, 50.
