GOP Invites 24 Cities to Bid for Convention

The Republican National Committee invited two dozen cities to submit proposals to play host to the party’s national convention in 2004.
Cities invited to submit proposals are: Los Angeles; Atlanta; Boston; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Cincinnati; Dallas; Denver; Detroit; Houston; Indianapolis; Miami; Milwaukee; Minneapolis; Nashville; New Orleans; New York City; Orlando, Fla.; Phoenix; San Antonio; Seattle; St. Louis; St. Paul, Minn.; and Tampa, Fla.
