Local Lease-to-Own Program Offered

The Riverside-San Bernardino Housing and Finance Agency, or RISFA, operates a lease-to-own program similar to the one described in “Updated Lease-Option Program Is Fairer to Buyers” by Lew Sichelman, March 17. It is a Freddie Mac/CaHLIF-sponsored program.

It enables families without the cash and unblemished credit record required in conventional programs to become homeowners in Beaumont, Blythe, Cathedral City, Chino, Colton, Hemet, Highland, Murrieta, Norco, Perris, Redlands, Rialto, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Jacinto, Temecula and all of the unincorporated areas of Riverside County.
