Primary Problem
While we should certainly worry about any racist making it to the second round of a national election (“Far-Rightist Le Pen Is Mighty in France,” April 22), we should at least commend the French for holding their runoff two weeks after the primary. In California, we have to wait an insufferable eight months for the Bill Simon-Gray Davis gubernatorial affair to end.
