Gorillas to Steal Baby
Poachers in Rwanda have killed two mountain gorillas, a highly endangered species, in an attempt to capture and sell their young, wildlife conservation officials said.
With only about 350 of the gorillas remaining in the wild, the population is so fragile that each one lost is significant, experts say.
The poachers made off with one baby after killing two females. Two men are being held in the killings, but officials believe that they are part of a larger criminal ring.
