From Bloomberg News

AOL Time Warner Inc.’s America Online unit is selling a version of its instant-messaging service to businesses as the largest Internet company tries to find more corporate customers.

America Online this week began charging an undisclosed amount for each user of the enterprise edition of AOL Instant Messenger.

The company, struggling with declining advertising sales and slowing subscription growth, wants to get higher revenue from its 180 million Instant Messenger users. America Online has mostly avoided the business market, dominated by Microsoft Corp.
