Plan Would Mandate Developments Post Signs

Ventura County supervisors moved forward Tuesday on a proposal that would require builders to post signs on parcels where developments are planned.
The policy, modeled after one used by Thousand Oaks, would require builders to pay to post signs at the building site.
The signs would identify the nature of the construction and provide general information about the planned project and phone numbers to call for more information.
