With the Midterm Election Over, Attention Turns Back to Iraq
It is difficult to understand, as we teeter on the brink of war -- a war which, if it does happen, will have been brought about at least to some degree by the president’s enthusiasm for it -- why the president has felt free to spend so much of his time campaigning for a long list of party favorites.
As young soldiers prepare to sacrifice their lives for their country, shouldn’t the president have been preparing for this war that he wants rather than jumping into Air Force One and flying around the country? At taxpayer expense, by the way.
For those citizens who couldn’t find the time to vote, there are no words low enough.
