200 Fishermen Missing, Feared Dead in Storm
From Times Wire Reports
Nineteen boats vanished in a fierce storm off Bangladesh, and officials said 200 fishermen were missing and feared dead.
The bodies of two fishermen washed ashore. Rescue workers were battling high waves to search the seas and offshore islands for the missing men.
Most of the missing -- 140 -- vanished when at least 10 wooden boats sank off Cox’s Bazaar, 185 miles southeast of Dhaka, the capital.
