$1.6-Million Grant for Fluoridation Rejected

The city of Redding has declined a $1.6-million grant that would have paid for water fluoridation equipment.
The rejection of the California Dental Assn. grant last week sets up a possible conflict with the state over a 1995 law requiring fluoridation if such grant money is offered.
