2 More Soldiers Die After Kashmir Attack
From Times Wire Reports
Two more soldiers have died from an attack in which two men disguised as police officers stormed a barracks in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir, bringing the total dead to four soldiers and the two assailants. Eleven other soldiers were wounded.
The attack occurred in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir state. Security forces blamed Lashkar-e-Taiba, one of several separatist groups behind a 12-year insurgency in the state, the only predominantly Muslim one in India.
