Peace Activist to Discuss Her Visit to U.N. Event

Citizens for Peaceful Resolutions will hold its monthly meeting from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Topping Room of the E.P. Foster Library, 651 E. Main St.
Carol Grier, a local activist, will speak on her recent visit to the United Nations’ Women’s Global Peace Initiative in Geneva.
The group is devoted to raising consciousness and educating the community about issues related to global security. For more information, call 649-3523.
