Women Governors
“In Governors’ Races, This Might Be Year of the Woman” (Sept. 29) omits perhaps the most interesting, exciting race this year: In Kansas, Democrat Kathleen Sebelius, the current state insurance commissioner, is running against the state treasurer, Tim Shallenburger--and polls show her with a great shot at winning.
This in one of the most heavily Republican states in the country.
As a loyal reader of The Times online, I wanted to add Sebelius to your list of remarkable women poised to make history on Nov. 5.
